In short

This site sets no cookies, embeds no trackers and no third-party content. Fonts are served from my own server. Data is only processed when you visit the site (server logs) and when you submit the form.

Server logs

When you visit the site, the web server stores technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser identifier and the previously visited page. The purpose is secure operation of the site and defence against attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Contact form and email

When you submit the form or send an email, I process your details (name, company, email address, project description, project stage, budget range, timeframe) to answer your request and prepare a possible quote. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The details are sent by email to office@beanbox.at and stored there. If no contract results, I delete them once they are no longer needed for handling the request. If a contract results, statutory retention periods apply.

To prevent abuse, the IP address is briefly kept in memory when you submit the form, to limit too many requests in a short time. It is not stored permanently.

Hosting

The site and the mail server run on my own server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in the EU.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to office@beanbox.at. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
