The feasibility check
The check is where every project starts. It takes 1–2 weeks and costs a fixed fee agreed upfront.
You get a written report with:
- the clarified requirements – what the system must do and what it doesn’t need to,
- an architecture sketch from sensor and firmware to backend and portal,
- the technical risks and how to keep them small,
- a cost estimate per milestone.
If it can’t be done, the feasibility check says so. The report is yours – you can also continue with someone else.
Fixed price per milestone
After the check you get a quote split into milestones. Each milestone has a fixed price and a verifiable result, for example “prototype measures and transmits” or “portal shows live data”. Payment is per milestone. After each milestone you decide whether to continue.
Source code and rights
At the end of the project you get the complete source code, the development environment and the documentation. The rights of use pass to you. If you want, I train your team so it can continue development on its own.
Availability
I work remotely, on clearly scoped projects. That’s why I don’t offer round-the-clock support or on-site work during office hours. Maintenance and further development after the project can be agreed as a separate milestone.
